Ordered on many occasions for home delivery, their pizzas are tasty, hot when delivered, and most importantly not swimming in a pool of fat in the box - like others,
-- pity they are tucked away in madeley st - need more exposure for tourism traffic.

 What a disgusting disappointment

We ordered 3 pizzas for delivery in barwon heads. a margherita, a gourmet house special, and a turkish bread with cheese. the delivery was 30 mins late to start with. no phone call to let us know. when it finally got here it was a huge disappointment. cold. all 3 pizzas were burned. they had no flavour. do they even use pepper? the main ingredient was cheese. revolting chewy cheap cheese. the gourmet pizza was supposed to have prosciutto prawns and herbs. but the main ingredient was cheese and, what was not listed on the menu, egg! eeeew. we chucked everything in the bin and had peanut butter sandwiches instead. i do not recommend this place at all. unless you need to induce vomiting after swallowing poison. yuck.

Lots of cafes claim to do "gluten free" meals, but you don't always get gluten free! coeliacs can relax. woodies pizza's are the best pizza you will get! they use real ham and real cheese (not that fake stuff you will find on other pizzas) you won't even know the base is gluten-free! in fact, my husband (not a coeliac) and i, regularly share the same pizza, and he can't tell the difference. the owner is a very happy chap, and he will open up for you for a takeaway, midweek, if you phone and let him know! i have never been sick, ever! the pizza bases are thin and crispy, and the toppings are always generous. make sure you order 2, and take one home for the freezer! we love it! drive down to the beach now, get a pizza, and sit on the sand! you can't beat it!

Ive tried this place on many occassions, hoping that it will improve. not good at all. pizza lacks flavour, lacks texture, lacks the passion needed. this place is laclusture, and a real dissapointment.
