Gave it a go

Came up to the gold coast for my holidays. visited this resturant, it was buzzing tonite, full. ordered garlic bread, came out within 5 minutes even though it was full and it was perfect. i got calamari, with salad (dont know what anonymous was on about but it says on the menu, vegtables or salad) was tender and delicious. my wife had vinnies special pizza (i had a piece was above average) and she loved it....she brought the rest of it home! ws a good night, had the house wine with dinner. the tira mi su just finished the night on a high. definaly try it!

Fabulous food

When i went there i thought that the food was magnificent and the service was so fast and easy. the food just blew me away, and the people who own the restaurant are so lovely and kind. i have been going her for about 8 years and every time i go it just gets better and better. so i really advise you to go to the restaraunt in southport, just look up vinnies pizza pasta ribs in the white pages and ring up and book, trust me you'll be blown away!

Fabulous!!!!

I went to vinnies tonight and had the macadamia nut chicken salad with honey mustard dressing, my family all had pizzas. our plates were clean, they devoured their yummy pizzas and my salad was the best i have tasted!!! i would highly recommend it as a lovely, value for money, good night out!!!

How to get rid of customers

I was a regular here and the food has been ok but on my last visit i order calamari. it cost $22 and came on one iceberg lettuce leaf with a coupe of tartare sauce big enough for four people. when i questioned the lack of a salad with the waitress she told me it just said "calimari" on the board and no mention of salad. as a travel writer i find attitudes on the gold coast to customers can be less than welcoming.there are better places to go and better restaurants to visit.
