My wife and i have both independently had horrid experiences there recently. we assume they just don't like kids. the service was appalling. rude, overpriced, slow. definitely wont be going again and would not recommend it to anyone.

I have no idea why or how this cafe has been at all succesful. what a dive. over-priced salvaged crap served up as some sort of new style food revolution. the only true word that fits this dive is 'simple'; the menu is simple, the people are simple and so is my decision to never go there again. simple as that!

Our meal at simply fed was ok. nothing really crash hot. the cafe doesn't really live up to the hype. i felt that for the quality of the food, the prices were rather steep.

Simply fed was ok to eat at but it was just ok. nothing special. the food portions were small and the food isn't that great.
the premises are a dark, grubby, pokey little place in a nonedecript alley in albury. not very inviting from the outside or inside. that simply fed is never well attended probably says the most about the lack of qulaity of the place.

Simply fed needs to change its name to the title - simply rubbish. when run by the former owner, a talented chef named lawrence, simply fed was a quality eaterie and a credit to the local culinary scene. since the new owner(s) have taken over, the overall quality of this once-fine establishment has fallen dramatically. even blind freddie could fine a better cafe in albury. very disappointing!

Simply fed is a grotty little eatery in a grotty little laneway in albury. if the exterior is bad, the interior is worse. the place was not clean and the food was not much better than i could cook at home. to be fair, i thought the prices were ok but given the lack of quality of the food, this was expected. i had to ask for a clean set of cutlery. most annoying was having to put up with the aging waitress hitting on me while i was trying to eat. but at least i didn't die there - that is the only positive thing i can say about my visit to simply fed.

I visited simply fed on a recent trip to albury. i found the reality did not live up to the hype. the food was passable at best. the service was not with a smile. the old serving woman was truly unpleasant to deal with - i presume this was the same woman that liza (17/5/10) summarised. i will be visiting one of the finer eateries in albury on future visits. i will not be recommending simply fed to my friends and colleagues.

I have breakfast at simply fed each saturday. the food is always excellent. the decor is warm and inviting. the staff are all friendly, pleasant and personable. in particular, delores (the owner?) goes out of her way to make all customers feel welcome. i highly remmend simply fed to all.

 Food oasis in albury

After spending a week in albury we thought the only worthwhile restaurants were out-of-albury-town. that is until we found simply fed. great food in a stylish cafe that wouldn't be out of place in paddington (sydney) or fitzroy (melbourne.the chef has out-of-town experience and it shows. pity it's not open for dinner.
