 Extra lemon? i don't think so!!!

So we've been going to salt n battered for a year now. if they weren't the best local fish n chip shop in the area we wouldn't go. we're constantly disappoint in their lack of lemons. we order min 3 pieces of sea perch and a dozen calamari. we are only ever given one measley piece of lemon. considering this is about 4 - 5 servings of fish we should be given at least 5 pieces of lemon. we have asked countless times for extra lemon and they ignore it, the time we paid an extra $1 we received one more piece of lemon. considering a lemon would only cost them 20c each i would expect that a $1 can buy a lot more than a quarter of a lemon.
if you like lemon on your fish, i suggest you do what we do and buy 1 or 2 lemons for the same price at the shops. when we quizzed them on why they dont give much lemons all they had to say for themselves was 1 lemon, no extra. exra $1. poor service in our opinion.

We have been going to them for a couple of years now. although a tad expensive compared to other places around their food is exceptional. originating from melbourne i found it so hard to find what i grew up with . salt n battered come very very close. but i'm still struggling to find decent steamed dimsims.....i highly recommend them for any new residents to our greater springfield area.

Best fish and chips in the area by far! it can be a lengthy wait for your food on busy nights but if you double the time they tell you that your food will be ready you'll only have to wait 10 mins!

Have been going there for a few years and the food has been consistently excellent. as i am a pom i am fussy about my fish and chips and would recommend them highly. when family have visited from the uk they found them as good as at home. marks out of 10 11.

If you know them

They make good food but if you don't know them they keep you waiting, we live close by so when we dont have food we sometimes go there and they serve us quickly.

Slow service and appauling food, overcooked fish and stale oily chips topped up with not worried attitude when phoning to complain. my opinion stay away

Very slow service, we wathced our food left in the open for 5 minutes before they managed to bring it to us, waited for 25 minutes to be given cold over priced food, not value for money at all.
