It is always a worry looking at an asian menu that has 4 or 5 basic variation across the meat, the chicken, the beef etc etc.
after 45 minute wait at table the meals finagling come (with the exception of the 10 years old's sweet and sour which was delivered 15 mins later).
a key to a thai and some chinese dishes is fish sauce use it and taste to season mr chef. the best dish was the red curry chicken which although fragrant lacked the taste and body.
the sate beef and omelette average.
the sweet and sour crispy pork ribs, not sure if rare on the one is quite the way it should be served. might add the sweet and sour next time.
the meals seem to be cooked to a guide and not much seems to go into testing the taste.
let's hope the indian lives up to its reputation tomorrow night.
