My fiance and i wanted a good night out and we decided on mexican. del rio was one of the nicest places i've ever eaten out at. the food was award winning and the service was friendly and the owner a delight to talk to. for the two of us it only cost $50. we were both very pleased with the experience and will defiantly be going back in the near future.

We also were at the restaurant last evening. i can only say we had wonderful service the food was great. as i couldn't help but over hear how rude you were to the manager i felt i had to respond it really did look like you were finished your bag was not that obvious and many times have i seen people leave with drinks still on the table. i personally was more horrified that you seemed unconcerned when you returned and your son was missing. i can only say well done mexican del rio i would highly recommend your restraunt to everyone

My family and i have been going here for a number of years now. my son and i normally get take aways but tonight we decided to dine in.
food was great as usual, but i wasn't even finished my meal and my son had half his curly fries left and i needed the bathroom. i left my handbag, my son and our meals and a glass of wine at the table. i came back out to realise my son had also left for the bathroom, look at my table to find the food plates cleared!!!!! absolutely disgusted!
my handbag was still at the table for crying out loud! the man serving us offered my son ice cream to make up for it! ice cream! and at the counter to pay i say, "never have i had a meal taken from me before i have finished", his response "ahhhhh, here we go!". and i was still charged full price for our food and drinks. the way this was handled was woeful and in my own experience working in hospitality, severe warnings would've been given to the staff member who cleared the table and some compensation given to the customer (not including a small bowl of ice cream!)
shame on you mexican del rio, shame on you!
