i really can't say anything positive about ma's larder other than it's in an excellent location but with the most useless customer service i've encountered in years.
presented with a complaint the owner herself refuses to acknowledge that anything her business has produced is anything less than exceptional. she does not take responsibility and when really backed into a corner she uses her juniors as bait to fend off unhappy customers.
the food is a hopeful second to mediocre and the price is astronomical.
if you do decide to eat there, best of luck getting out with a hope and dream of having a decent feed.

Even for a country takeaway, this place holds its own. maybe a few city shop owners & staff should make the trip & visit & take some notes. a small shop doing a top job. keep up the good work ma

Only fish and chip shop in town so i guess you can afford to have appalling customer service(be lucky if they answer your call or aknowledge your presence), bought in frozen fish, and small portioned chip bundles (however battered chips are tasty) and check out the short order cooks wandering around in thongs.
