It's surprising to read some of the negatives comments because this little restaurant is by far the best in rocky.
would have expected more positive ones. sure i have had a few times when i have had to wait a little bit longer than promised but it is worth the wait. if you are not happy waiting then go to one of the noodle fast-food places.
my family and i live out at gracemere and we try to get food from them at least once a fortnight.
staff is friendly and polite unlike many restaurants in the town.
it is amusing how somebody would think that waiting 15 minutes on valentines day is long. probably have not dined at very many places.
keep up the good work! the $10 meal deals for dinner and not only lunch would be a dream come true!

Interesting to read other people's reviews and what they have to say, particularly the people who have moved here from the big smoke and expect home delivery etc. you are in the country. deal with it. no need to give an excellent business a bad review for a service they never even claim to have. that said, i have been dining here for years, and the food is as good as it gets. top quality, fresh, and for a good price. admittedly the service has waned a little recently, particulalry at lunchtime, but it's because of the wom and the restaurant's popularity has skyrocketed with all the new people moving here. on a good day you can't move in there for the amount of patrons and the takeaways heading out the door. the decor is quite basic. the place is not the ritz and is a little poky, but if you want good honest value for money and excellent food in a quaint little out of the way up and coming suburb in rockhampton, you cant beat it. the restaurant has many regulars and you see a lot of the same faces each time you dine there. that is proof enough for anyone. i'ts a top little restuarant.

Took my gf there for valentines & we waited 15 just to order anything. another 15 just for the food to arrive, didnt get an entree that would of taken longer so went for main course. music in background was like a looping soundtrack in a doctor's surgery. average layout, no privacy & they seemed more focused on people coming in to pickup their takeaway rather than the dine-in customers.
food was very nice, nice proportions. 1 waitress in small place, few couples and we still didnt get asked how our food was? would you like anything else? wheres the toilets? your name? i mean talk about feeling not welcomed. oh yeh my gf's softdrink was out of date, thanks.
i will get takeaway from there but never dine in again.

I have not even had the chance to enjoy chinese/malaysia since i moved here from melbourne 2 month's ago. i wish i could just sit down on a sunday night and bloody enjoy a nice $50.00 meal of chinese delivered to my front door without having to stuff around on a sunday night when some of us have work to goto in the morning..
c'mon rockhampton. start delivering!!!
