I am from adelaide and took my family there for a dinner on sunday night. the food was greasy with too much poor quality cheese. the ravioli was overcooked and tasted like playdough. there was 0.5 cm of oil in bottom of every bowl. i was gutted that it was so terrible. if you have every been to fasta pasta, la porchetta or simular do not go here. you will be immediatly horrified at the stuff they serve. to cap it off it is very very very expensive and has lots of hidden charges. it may be good by lauceston standards but terrible by brisbane, adelaide, perth and melbourne standards (yes i have eaten and lived in each city) you have been warned!!!

I'm a local and my family and i have dinner at la cantina restaurant quite frequently, tonight to our surprise we found out they had started doing pizza's. the garlic pizza was amazing, and the house special my wife and i shared was delicious! we can't wait to go back, keep up the good work guys!

We are regular customers of this restaurant being coming here since it was taken over and can only describe it as great service excellent atmosphere and the food is to die for.no bull only fresh euthentic italian food just like mamma makes.we love it.

We have dined at la cantina on several occasions and also order takeaways regularly. we have always found the food to be of the highest quality and the cannelloni is a favourite. veal dishes exceptional as well. our children can't go past the spaghetti bolognaise and lasagne.

Major disappointment, ordered the bruschetta and was serviced grilled tomatoe and cheese on garlic bread, and they argued with me over what it should have been! service was horrible the waitress didn't know how to serve wine and threw away the cork. staff very inexperienced and the main (cannelloni) was again drowned in tasty cheese.
