This local italian restaurant formerly was quite good however recently has declined markedly in service and value for money. what once was a "must go to" sadly now is a "avoid at all costs". thankfully it is conveniently near the number 55 tram, so a short ride to the city will provide plenty of other options, as well as the many great places along sydney road at brunswick.
such a pity to see la botte drop so much from what once was somewhere of good value and excellent service to a mere shadow of its former self!
