The imperial palace is a great place to pick up some chinese fusion take away or make a night of it and eat in. whilst not impeccable, the service was very satisfactory, attentive, polite, and not too overbearing. we did have a mix up on our order but the important thing is that steps were immediately taken to rectify any mistakes and our party left satisfied.
the imperial palace takes common asian fusion dishes and does them well, covering most of the major asian inspired cuisines such as thai, chinese, and malaysian. we all have our guilty pleasures when it comes to food and some nights only a serve of good old sweet and sour pork, or special fried rice is going to fill the hole, so if a meal of unpretentious asian favourites is what you are after then i heartily recommend the imperial palace.

I have lived in bendigo my entire life and you cannot go past imperial palace for chinese food. may pay a bit more but you get what you pay for. excellent quality. consistenely good!!

I went in and had dinner in the restaurant and we were shoved into a corner and forgotten about it for an hour. our food was not that good, and was extreemly expensive they forgot our drinks and did not even offer a discount for their mistakes. very disappointed i will not be going there again. terrible service.
