I just recently found a pizza shop in risdon vale called hapka's pizza and it is the best kept secret in hobart. hidden away on the eastern shore it serves up authentic gormet quality pizza's at a reasonable price.
the pizza bases are crunchy and have what i can only describe as having the "taste". after each satisfying bite you are drawn back to take another one, then another.
the range of pizza's is fantastic as well ranging from basic cheese and herb, satay chicken, curried scallop, hawaiian and to a heart stopping and delicious 4 corners of the world !.
if your into heat, you can't go past the volcano pizza it is hot. warning do not ask for 10/10. they will make it any heat level you like.
they even make a regular size nutella pizza for $5 as a desert!!!.

i am unable to eat any other pizza other than a hapka's, wish hapka had a store on the western shore !!!!!.

Very happy with my recent hapkas experience. the service was great (was given a free drink and help carrying the pizzas out to the car) and the pizza was delicious

This tiny little shop hides some of the nicest pizzas you will have. atmosphere is rated low only because you can't eat there - it's take away only.
