Living several streets from clamms it is always nice to have the option of getting some fish and chips on a hot summers night. wondered down tonight got there at 8.19pm and was rudely told , " no more oders". strange !!. i got home and thought that i would place a phone order , " what time do you close ?" counter hand replies, " about 9am, but we are not taking orders , we have ran out of fish !".
after 4 years , we wont be going back, wont be recommending this particular store to anyone. i am a hospitality trainer and will be definately use this experience in my training.
not impressed !!!!!!

I am a regular customer to clamms on dundas and am appauled with my recent experience. a warm friday night and clamms was a nice thought for dinner. living only 2 streets from the store i wondered over to place my order at 8.20pm, only to be blunty told by the counter hand, " we are not taking anymore orders". well that was that. but i thought that i would make a phone order, yes we are open until 9pm, but we have run out of fish was the response i got. i dont care if we have to travel 10km to get some nice fish and chips, we will not be going back and living in the area , we will definately not be recommending this business to our friends , visitors or neighbors. a very dissapointing experience. i work in hospitality training, a good story to tell students.

Food's great, but the indian chap at the till said i was fussy when i brought my plate of chips back in to get some chicken salt. shocking considering we spent over $50 in one receipt.
