Brandos always been a good pizzeria but it's transformed into one of the best you will find in perth with a fabulous new interior fitout with a bit of bling but still warm and comfortable and the new menu is great. tried the new moroccan lamb and seafood mornay pizzas both yum and calamari & chorizo entree very good. also had grilled garlic prawn salad that was delicious! new wine list and more cocktails to try next time really can't fault it. well done

Hard to find a better pizzeria around perth that makes a fabulous pizza with the perfect blend of fresh toppings and not over cheesed like some others. the sauce was special and makes the pizza come together. combined with a cool and comfortable restaurant and friendly service it ticks all the boxes. hey daz, you must have been having a moment, ham & pineapple hawaiian we had was the best and would be pretty hard to stuff up - its just ham & pineapple! anyway definately returning again!!

Went there last night with family for pizza, never again! ordered 3 pizzas and a garlic bread and salad.
the ham and pineapple was disgusting, and the other pizza base was soggy, the plate was wet under the pizza.
garlic bread 2/10, real cheap and the salad was old.
worst pizza i have had and we have been there many times in the past. time to move on.

We ordered a chicken tandoori pizza for entree to share a it was delicious with perfect tandoori spice balance and a huge size for large which didnt leave much room for mains. the chicken parma was also big (one whole breast i think) and cooked just right with lots of sauce and cheese on top. traditional pizzeria and still has what you need. great atmosphere, great food and great value.

Before going to dine in at this restaurant, i checked the reviews an saw that it was definitely mixed, but i must say, i was impressed!! i went to order the food an a staff member quickly but calmly took my order, i ordered the mexican and fettucine. and wow. the food was great, and the staff seemed like a 'family', my friends enjoyed watching the television...even though porn came on for about 5 minutes, i believe it was 'naked and funny'. best place to go with friends to have a drink and actually interact with the staff members :d

Love the gourmet pizzas and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pizza in a casual restuarant where you can relax and enjoy a night out. the food is great and very inexpensive with well priced beer and wine. staff are very friendly and we are now new regulars +++

Was recommended by a friend who lives in the area so we visited on the weekend and must say we loved it. great food, fabulous pizzas and friendly staff. was also suprised how busy it was as it was hard to get a table for such a large place. very relaxed atmosphere and good value for money.

Reading below i must comment that i had reservations too however we were pleasantly surprised! we did wait about 25 minutes for our meals but to be expected as it was soooo busy with about 50 diners and lots of takeaways, but pleased to report it was worth the wait! everyones food was very nice and my pizza was superb. its not fine dining but then the prices aren't either. we will be back!!

Have been there a few times now and "always" great food and service. the pizzas are the best in perth and we have been to many other places to compare. they are big, fresh and yummy. the staff are very friendly and very nice (mr goran your comments below are very rude and miserable cows like you should stay home more often) the services is from the counter and the sooner people realise this before making silly comments the better. all the staff are friendly and the owner is great with his eye on the ball. must be doing something right as its often hard to find a table on weekends. love the relaxed atmosphere and decore of the place. now they're fully licenced so we enjoyed well priced beer or wine which not many places offer in perth. overall great value and great place to eat!!!

i have been working their for a while now and i feel that we do give good service and our food is up to standards....
for those that expect 5star resturant dont come to brandos actually dont come to vic park... go somewhere where you pay 50 or more ahead not 50 for the whole family.....

I've always had good pizza here. i think they have new owners but the quality is still good.
i dont hear good things about the other food, never tried it myself because i cant go past the pizza. if your a pizza fan definately go!
it is a casual little place - dont expect to be ushured to a table and have a waiter. you order at the counter then find a table and the food will come out to you. i've never had to wait more than 20 minutes at absolute most.

Our party of two adults and two hungry teenagers made the mistake of dining there on a lazy sunday afternoon. after ordering meals and drinks at the counter (because nobody was interested in seating us and taking our table order), we waited for 30 minutes before enquiring as to the whereabouts of our meals. the manager disagreed about the length of time we had waited, and just said that the food would come out ?soon?.
when our food did finally arrive, it was terrible. the pasta had the consistence and taste of yellow rubber smothered in runny cream and a few dark specs of supposedly mushroom ($20). the ?chicken schnitzel? (or so it claimed to be on the box) was pre-cooked, reheated, dry, tasteless and topped with a tomato sauce, straight from the jar. it came with the ubiquitous oven fried / singed chips and wilting salad (yours for $21).
the only redeeming food was the pizza that we shared. enough for two, piping hot and freshly made. and that?s the problem with this place ? the only fresh food they serve is pizza.
i complained to the manager and he refunded me $15 from our $80 bill.
all up, it?s the kind of place that gives ?junk food? a bad name.

Just ordered two large pizza's for delivery. as per the last menu. (new one unavailable as it has not been delivered yet. will be in there to get asap. did also ask for a receipt). stated $27.00 pick up, $3.00 extra for delivery. delivery special 2 lrg for $30. why did it cost $35??? menu i have is 2 months old max. now it makes sense why my girlfriend took the menu with us last time we picked up pizza. "to make sure they charge us the right amount"!!! i do like the pizza's, but i hate thieves!!!!!!! i also have 15 years in the hospitality industry.

I ordered takeaway [home delivered] and had this chicken dish which was $19.90. i asked how big the dish was / how many chicken wings they said about 9. i thought great you would want that many for 20 bucks. as it turned out there were 9 small nearly burnt chicken wingettes which are half a 'chicken wing' so really there was half the quantity that was promised. i rang back and asked for the owner and was basically told where to shove it and was actually verbally abused by the owner. i would never eat here and they do not deserve mine or anyone's business if the owner has that attitude... harrumph!

The service was poor and the staff were busy chatting to themselves whilst customer were queuing up waiting to be served. the food was terrible and it took approximately an hour to be cooked. wouldn't visit again!

As i have now been to brandos a few times and i was ordering takeaway - i located this site for the phone number -i felt compelled to add a review.
the food is wonderful including non pizza items, the service is friendly and cheerful even in trifle circumstances.
the fact you can sit and chill out and have live music to dine with and no pressure to rush is a bonus.
to the last unfortunate fool that gave a bad review - maybe if you read the huge signs about ordering at the counter you may have experienced the food and the service !!!!!!
some people were just born vague and are natural complainers.
well done brando's and looking forward to the new fresh reopening this week.

Went to brandos last night was not that busy aprt from takeaway customers.waited 20 minutes and no one even came to our table with water or served us when there was about 10 people in the restauraunt.they would rather talk to their friends and other staff members.walked out in disgust.so i didnt have a chance to taste the food and i cant complain about the service because there was none.

On the couple of occassions i have visted brando's i have found it fine. as an amateur pizza aficionado i found the food above average and the service (waitresses) very polite and welcoming. my tip to readers of these reviews both good and bad is you can generally trust an establishment that has been around for as long as brando's has we here in perth have a great ability to brankrupt poor performing food outlets by virtue of not spending our hard earned there! so well done brando's i will definately revisit.

Yes the pizza's are very very good, but ive lived in vic park for 20 years and yes it is true the owner is quite an arrogant man ive never actually ever seen him smile at anyone and ive seen him be a little mean to his employees so im notsurprised a bad review by an ex employee was posted. but yes the pizza are great. best in this area.

You must be a vacuum cleaner who knows about vacum cleaners more than food. brandos has the best and the cheapest pizza ever in the west. it has taste, quality, value ,service staff there very friendly as i would know as i am a staff member there i am one of the waitresses. my advice to anybody is to actually see and taste brandos and not follow rubbish rumours who is jealous of the sucess of the manager running that shop. brandos is a true vicpark icon.
