 So bad i reported it to health & food safety

Garlic bread homebrand frozen and disgusting, prawn pasta had extremely small frozen prawns with titbits of vegetable matter on thick gluey pasta, no glasses, flies swarmed the incleaned/cleared tables, pidgeon droppings on the beams above our head, the plascti walls where covered in a thick black muck..never again, eat here at your own risk..oh staff had filthy clothing and manager called me obnoxious because i dared to complain..close it down i say!

Worst restaurant ever

After arriving at the restaurant, and being one of two couples in there, we waited at least 20 minutes before the dumb-ass waitress "noticed" us waiting. the food was horrible, the service appalling and when we complained about being overcharged for one of the menu items, we were told that the cheaper advertised price only applied from monday - wednesday. the manager/owner or whoever the bald boof head is, was rude and offered no apologies for their inconsistant price advertising.
i will never go back and should have realised that their lack of customers on a friday night, was a reflection of how horse shit this place is!!!

We went to this restaurant at 5.30pm. we were finally asked what we would like to order 15 minutes later (being the only people in the restaurant). the service was appalling, the food was disgusting. we ordered a chicken salad- the chicken was rock hard. pizza was rock hard. the food was bland and looked awful. we won't be going back.

1/ never seen so may people trying to get staff attention, get ignored, then walk out
2/ when i ask when i will get my drink was told they will check with the chef (wtf)
3/ staff sitting at tables, on mobile phones in front of the owner. this is despite asking for service

We got takeaway from here so cannot comment on atmosphere or service (hence one star) - 3 pizzas for $54 the sizes were quite small only 6 pieces in each so we didnt have any leftovers. smoked salmon was very salty but vego was delicious. the crusts were good. the seafood was also tasty. overall very good but shame about the salt.

Raw dough for your dough

I ordered a large supreme pizza for take-away, only to get it home and find that the top of the base was still raw. i took it back and at my insistence they replaced it (they originally offered to put it back in the oven). i got the replacement back home and this base was raw as well. i put it in my oven. it's a good thing pizzas aren't their specialty - oh, hang on. at $23 a basic pizza, i'd expect better.

Went on a friday night with about 8 people there was live music which was great staff were pleasant and efficient and the food was excellent.

For those who strongly advise against

I disagree, apk is a great restaurant, it's family friendly, provides excellent wood fire pizzas, there is a definite value for money here. i have ordered pastas in the past that were (small) however when i have received them, i can tell you they have been very generous portions of (small). i know that could sound subjective but i'm not a small eater- i do enjoy my food ;)
like any restaurant there are changes in chefs so the food isn't always going to taste exactly the same and be served exactly the same way. i find it very hard to believe that customers have been told to be quiet and were blamed for bad service and food. i know personally quite a few waiting staff, and none of them would behave and react this way to customers.
the atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic on friday and saturday nights as there is live music.
overall this is a great restaurant with very reasonable prices. i would definitely recommend people coming here. in fact i am going there tonight with my brother and his girlfriend and my sister to celebrate my sister's 19th.

Pretty good - friendly staff a+

We went here just last week, their were around 10 of us, the staff were accommodating, we had a few extra just pop in and chairs, glasses and cuttlery were arranged. price was reasonable too.
a friend came late, he ordered and received his meal the same time as we did which was pretty awesome. it's byo, the staff were friendly enough. we're going back there again this saturday so i'll review once again...

My friends and i ate at this restaurant for my birthday. my friends arrived within 15 minutes of each other. after ordering our food (there was nine of us) we waited over an hour and were served bland, dry and small amounts of food. when my partner and myself complained, i was told to be quiet and was told it was our fault that the food was horrible. in addition, the staff were wearing thongs and casual clothes. last i checked it was against health and safety to wear shoes that are not enclosed when preparing food. very upset and disappointed by the staff and the food. 0/10.

I would like to thank apk for there unique approach to value for money and quality. never before has someone charged so much for so little, while at the same time providing a taste that i will not soon forget and a toilet experience i will long remember.
