I'm a regular customer here as i have special dietary requirements. the food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are lovely, they are the friendliest and most helpful that you can find- very rare these days! i would recommend far east to anyone who enjoys beautiful asian cuisine with service which is second to none!

 Worth the 50 minute drive

Need i say more? i used to live near browns plains and would eat from there often. now i live in redcliffe, a 50 minute drive, but still drive down there now and then just for their thai tofu noodles. the best in qld!!!!

Far east a benchmark for asian takeaways

Everything is spot on for what it is. while its average compared to a restaurant, as a takeaways it is high quality, excellent price for the flavour, quality and serving portions. good choice and variety without being overwhelming and too foreign to understand. my family and friends can't say anything bad about it, only that we wish it was closer to our doorstep.

My husband and i have been going to far east for 7yrs. we absolutely love it. i love their satay chicken and thai green curry. my husband loves their noodles. the flavours are beautiful. worth every cent.

Food is great here - the price compared to city noodle boxes is expensive, however for the quality of food, it is value for money.
the staff could be better at approaching their customers. i didn't appreciate it when one of their staff bumped into me to get into the kitchen - she didn't even excuse herself or apologise, just plain barged into me! although, the front of the shop is very sparse for customers to stand around without moving for others.
i will be phoning my order in next time. they seem to get priority.
also, i don't like how they don't enforce no smoking at the front of their store. highly dissatisfactory.
the food is what keeps me coming back.

We got satay chicken and fried rice the satay was more like satay onion as it had next to none chicken with about 1 full onion in it with very poor satay taste but the fried rice was good i think by far satay box is a lot better will not be going back

I have been going to far east for about 5 or 6 years now and have never had a bad experience. best asian food i have had, hands down. pick your meat, pick your noodles, pick your style, enjoy and repeat. they need to franchise and get more stores towards the city! browns plains best kept secret.
