Got a roast pork roll for $7.50 full of fat with two small bits of meat. thought i would give them second chance checked website for hours arrived half an hour before closing to find door unlocked but everything packed up ! tried three times to contact via website unsuccesfully.

Love your meal deals and chicken yummo.
maybe you should do a mid week special like 2 x chooks for $$, or a cheep tuesday special. i just moved from nsw and this what they offer at other chicken places. :)

I went into the mermaid evive the other day and had the best customer service. the girl took my order and literally 10 seconds later it was ready! the girls are always so fast at getting my order i don't know how they do it!

 Where's the service?

I popped in to evive mermaid for the first time tonight even though i drive past it every day. i left without being served and won't go there again. if i'd had some service i'd probably be in there once a week from now on. no customers in the shop even though it's good friday at 5.30pm. 2 girl workers having a lovely chat, with a 3rd girl listening. she turned to me with such a look of cool bland indifference and made no move to smile, greet me or offer service, that i had a quick look at the salads and then left without being acknowledged by the 3 of them. way to go girls!

Evive serve a variety of salads, roasted meats and hot dishes like creamy potato bake and hot vegetables. they also do roast meat rolls with gravy etc.
while their food is always fresh and tasty, i find it a bit expensive for what you are getting - roast meat and boiled/roasted vegetables. let's face it, we can all cook this stuff at home and for the price, i'd choose food that i can't cook myself.
the price is a little up there and while you're in the store you can't help but think that it's expensive because of the stainless lined benches and the multiple lcds mounted throughout the store to show you the price of things. high overheads and high maintenance/running costs seem to be what you are paying for i think...
