 From freezer to plate

This is the first time i had fish and chips in a few years and i was very disappointed. everything in the shop was factory direct (frozen crumbed pineapple, crab sticks, prawns etc) - the imported hake would have been frozen and thawed out the day before. what happened to fish and chip shops with big juicy fresh pieces of fish rather than factory processed fillets that are all identical in size?
everything we ordered was also way over cooked. the chips were a very dark brown colour, the prawn the same. this is a glorified shopfront with a deep fryer. i could have bought frozen fillets and chips at woolies and cooked them in my deep fryer at home if that's what i was after... i expect fresh product from a local f&c shop. i would not recommend this place.

I usually get this as a weekend lazy dinner. i love it, the fish is always beautiful, chips are perfect. i think people who dont like it must be very picky. i have had it so many times since living in wembley and have never been dissapointed.

This is the first time i have ever written a review. this was so awful i was personally obligated to give a comment. it was so incredibly oily that you could not taste the fish. and it had the very old oil taste - they probably had not refreshed it for ages. i never will go back there even though its only a short distance from my house. simply disgusting. they should be ashamed

For the best f & c in perth

This has got to be the very best. fast, fresh & like f&c should taste like. not greasy, since i use to live nearby but now i have moved i travel 20 min to get the best f&c in perth. well worth a try!!!!
