Sadly it seems your staff have not been trained to recognize the difficulties that parents of an autistic child face, this child was your customer and should have been shown the respect he deserved i hope that management will learn from this and make sure it never happens again. although an apology to this family could not make up for the hurt they have experienced it would at least be the start of better service to all your customers regardless of what problems they face in life.

I am furious at how your staff have treated a poor innocent soul that was purchasing your food and just so happened to be making noises, what is soooooo wrong with that, the poor little angel was expressing himself and was subjected to discrimination for it. parents of autistic angels celebrate when their children express themselves and the last thing they need is to be is punished for it!!!! my heart goes out to the poor parent that was subjected to this disgraceful behaviour. i hope you are reading these posts tonight and that they are hopefully drying some of your tears because you are never alone in your fight for acceptance. my heart is with you tonight. the staff need to be held accountable for their actions. to the management of subway, do not underestimate how vaste the autism community is and how far they will go to be heard!

After reading a post on facebook today that has gone viral i am absolutely disgusted and appalled of the treatment of your staff towards an innocent young boy that lives with autism and his mother. as a parent of an 10 year old autistic son i feel sick to the stomach that in today's society that ignorance is still existing in our community. to the manager "nick" you really to have a very good look at your managerial skills and strengths as you have shown quite clearly that you are lacking them. awareness and education should be a high priority. a phone call to autism victoria for support would be useful. i can ensure that your head office will be contacted to lodge a formal complaint.

I am re-posting this on behalf of my cousin donna wallisgibbs,today i am asking everyone in our autism community to boycott subway seaford @ 267 seaford rd seaford (vic). phone:97768851. a friend of a friend went in with her autistic son who started making animal noises in the shop, she told them he was autistic and they started laughing at him and whispering to each other. my friend rang and put in a c...omplaint to the manager who told her maybe your child shouldn't come to a venue like this, when she said pardon he said you should consider where you take him. i ask everyone to ring speak with nick the manager in question 0397768851 and tell him you are part of the autism community and will be boycotting this shop for discriminating against autism

This is to the staff and the manager, that laughed at the austistic boy that came into your store... what sort of person/people would do that? you should be ashamed of yourself. to think that there is someone like to managing a store makes me sick! how about for a minute you put yourself in the mothers shoes... how would you feel? i guess you don't care because you are lower than low. i hope you get what you deserve, you pack of low lifes... if that was my business you were looking after, i would be so ashamed... you are an embarassment to our commnnity, i will make sure that everyone i know, knows what you have done, and then maybe you will think twice next time you are confronted with a situation like that. and by the way the 1 star rating is only there so i could post this comment.

It's absolutely disgusting that subway can employ and promote 'nick' to the status of a manager. he obviously does not possess the people skills to fill such a position. he made this so evidently obvious when he asked the parent of a boy with autism to reconsider where she should eat with her son and suggesting another venue for them.
this is grossly negligent and down right discriminatory on subway's behalf. nick has such a blatant disregard for his customers and if i was the parent of this young boy, i would probably be pursuing legal action and compensation for the embarassment thats only if i could stop my husband from going to see the manager 'nick' and give him a fresh shiner to go with his ignorant attitude.
say goodbye to my money subway seaford you'll be getting none of that from me!
i've also rated appropriately because with that kind of treatment none of that criteria would be worth more than 1 star. if zero stars was an option believe me i'd be choosing that!
