 A hidden gem

We were staying at peppers across the bay and wanted an escape from hotel food on a tuesday night. the only restaurant open was miriam's and it was empty so we hesitated before deciding to give it a shot. and we are so glad we did! we were welcomed like old friends and served an absolutely first class pizza. our host is not a wine connoisseur and she had only 2 bottles of red available, but at $15 a bottle i wasn't arguing and the wine was pretty damn good. a great night, cheap and surprisingly good.
