We moved from sunny coast january 2017 have always loved chinese food very pleasantly surprised when stumbled on chun lai the food the lovely people can't wait for each visit ,all visiters to our house now get the joy of having chun lai chinese

Lunch on saturday past: special fried rice (no prawns) and braised chicken and vegetables - delicious! heaps of chicken and vegies slightly crunchy. dinner tonight: same fried rice (still yummy - 6 pork pieces on top again), curry chicken: heaps of chicken and vegies slightly crunchy, mongolian lamb: yummy, equal parts onion and meat and finally sweet and sour pork, done separate to sauce as they always have - small pork inside (as done everywhere) but batter lovely and fluffy - my mum said it was yummy! very much improved from before the flood occurred - definetely recommend their food to others!

The waiter didn't know what was in the dishes, asked for fried rice and didn't get it, found the steak in my mongolian steak under 2 cups of onions and what the hell was that sauce??? i threw up 3 times between there and the hotel

This has got to be the worst chinese we have ever attempted to eat it was not edible, there was no pork in the sweet and sour pork as it was all batter and the prawns in the fried rice were barely cooked and we ended up throwing all but a couple of mouthfulls away

The food is extremely well prepared, full of flavor and the ingredients are obviously fresh. this is simply some of the best chinese food i have experienced. 10 out of 10.

We typically judge a chinese restaurant by the lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork. both of these dishes were suburb. the meat was succulent and it was not filled out with too much batter. it was packaged separate to the sauce to ensure crispness once the meal had arrived home. service was genuinely friendly but the food was so good they could have been rude and i'd still be a happy customer. 5 stars.
