Heard about a change in management and how good the food was so a number of us at work on a night shift decided we'd give 'em a go. after trying to ring for over an hour with just an engaged signal we bit the bullet and drove the 30ks expecting them to be flat out. they were closing up, well before 8pm on a saturday night (20/09/14)?!?! to make matters worse, there was no acknowledgement of our existence, just shut the door in your face and swap the sign over. no eye contact, no explanation, no apologies, no manners!!
dumbfounded and hungry we went to sandridge village fish and chips who served us as if they actually wanted customers.
after speaking to the people who recommended them initially, i was told that while the food was good, the whole time they were waiting for their order the phone was constantly ringing and no one bothered to answer it, even though there appeared to be spare bodies behind the counter and not overly busy.
good luck rude management. you're gonna need it after seriously pissing off a number of hungry people who talk to lots of other hungry people. what a bunch of useless twits!

Where to start .. ok so much to say but to narrow it down , ... very dissatisfied customer here .. warning to anyone who wants to phone an order through , unless you are ordering for 1 person don't call . you will be wasting the managers time and holding up other customers ?? very ill mannered manager .. highly unprofessional ... to the manager , customer service is just as important as the quality of food you dish up ..

Slow to get the meal and when we got it the chips were over cooked and soggy and a small portion and the fish was mushy inside a very greasy batter ... very greasy and almost inedible food... next time i want fish and chips i will go to another fish and chips shop..

Pretty much said i would have to wait ten minutes to write my order down even though i had already told my order to the young kid. hint to manager customers do not want to hear how under the pump you are. if you can't handle the amount of ppl hire more staff or close.

I would like to recommend and commend the owners of beach road f & c on their customer service and product for good friday 2010. the waiting time was as you would expect at any f & c shop for the busiest day of the year but the staff provided excellent customer service and the fish and chips were the best we have ever tasted. even got a little bag of easter eggs which was a lovely gesture.

Good quality fish and chips. so good in fact we have become regulars. waiting time is the same as any fish and chips shop. service is good, quality of fish and chips is great!

Our family bought a feed from u guys on good frid.we were impressed with the cleanlyness of the shop,but the chips were not cooked ,we called to let u no & all u said was sorry,no offer to replace them or give a credit for next time.we paid u good money& did not get what we paid for.-never again
