Attempted to go today for lunch as my friend and I really enjoy the food here. On previous visits the service has been poor to say the least but today was to the point of ridiculous.
The front door sign says open 11.30am-2.30pm, a three hour lunch shift - what a dream job for hospitality!
But it wasn't enough for the two waitstaff on today.
At 11.30am the door was closed and the two girls were having something to eat around the bar so we went to have a drink next door to give them 20 mins to open.
At 11.50am we were ignored standing outside for 5 mins and on opening the door and asking if they were open we were told "yeah in 5 mins we're just having lunch"
I work in hospitality.
1. Eat lunch before or after your shift.
2. Lose the attitude.
3. Don't ignore customers when you have them..
We went past on the way back from lunch elsewhere and there was lucky to be 6 people inside at 1pm.
I feel sorry for the owners.
